Nodum

Nodum / Privacy policy

Nodum keeps everything on your phone.

Effective 24 October 2026 · Applies to the Nodum app (app ID com.cakapp.nodum).

The short version

  • No account, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics and no tracking tools.
  • Your progress and settings are stored only on your device.
  • The app does not ask for internet access, so it cannot send anything anywhere.

Who is responsible

Nodum is published by Cüneyt Ak, an individual developer based in The Gambia. Contact: ckamilkapp@gmail.com or the contact form.

Data the app stores on your device

To work, Nodum keeps your level progress, your hint count and your settings (theme, sound and vibration) in the app's private storage on your phone. This information is never sent to the developer or to anyone else.

Sharing a finished puzzle

If you tap share, Nodum draws a picture of your finished shape with the level number and hands it to Android's share sheet. You choose which app receives it. Nothing is shared unless you tap share.

Backups

Android's Auto Backup may copy the app's data to your Google Account and restore it when you set up a new phone. This is controlled by your phone's backup settings and by Google's own policies, and the developer cannot see it. You can turn it off in Android settings.

Purchase

Nodum is sold as a one-time purchase through Google Play. Google handles the payment, and the developer does not receive your payment details.

Permissions

Nodum does not request any special Android permissions. It has no access to your internet connection, location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files.

Children

Nodum is a general-audience puzzle game. Because it has no accounts, ads or data collection, it collects nothing from children either.

Deleting your data

Uninstall the app, or clear its storage in Android settings, to delete all progress and settings. The developer holds none of it, so there is nothing to request from us. If Auto Backup is on, a copy may remain in your Google Account; you can manage it in your Google account settings.

Your rights

Because we do not collect or hold any personal data, there is nothing to access, correct or delete on our side. If you have a question, write to the contact address above.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. If Nodum ever starts to collect data or ask for internet access, this page will be updated before that version is released.
